olvidar, verb:
to forget
You often use olvidar in the reflexive form, particularly to talk about accidental forgetting. You use de after it.
Me olvidé de decírtelo.
I forgot to tell you.
Nunca se olvida de mi cumpleaños.
He never forgets my birthday.
You can also use olvidarse with an indirect object - me, te, le, etc - as in the next examples. The verb agrees with the thing you forget or which slips your mind.
Se me olvida la fecha.
I don’t remember the date OR I can’t think of the date.
Con tantos nombres, se me olvidaron algunos.
What with so many names, some have slipped my mind.
