mojado, adjective:
wet, damp; soaked, drenched
Mojado is the adjective derived from mojar. It has several shades of meaning.
Por la mañana la hierba estaba mojada.
In the morning the grass was wet.
Le frotaron el rostro con una toalla mojada.
They rubbed his face with a wet towel.
Mojado also describes things which are damp:
Olía a tierra mojada.
It smelled of damp earth.
Mojado also describes what it’s like to be soaked when it rains.
A veces, llega al colegio completamente mojada.
Sometime she arrives at school soaked to the skin.
