acostarse, verb:
to lie down; to go to bed
When you’re feeling tired, acostarse is a useful word. Remember that it’s reflexive in Spanish.
Me voy a acostar un rato.
I’m going to lie down for a while.
Acostarse also means to go to bed. The -o of the stem changes to -ue in some cases:
Siempre se acuesta temprano.
He always goes to bed early.
Acostarse con means to go to bed with somebody, in the romantic sense:
Me gustaría acostarme con ella.
I’d like to go to bed with her.
