diario, adjective:
daily
Diario is the adjective derived from el día, day, and means daily.
la rutina diaria
the daily routine
diversos aspectos de nuestra vida diaria
different aspects of our daily life
When you want to talk about how many hours you work per day, or how much somebody earns, you can also use diario:
¿Cuántas horas diarias dedicaba al estudio?
How many hours a day did he spend studying?
Gana en torno a los ochocientos dólares diarios.
He earns around eight hundred dollars per day.
Of course, a newspaper is usually daily, and el diario is a common word for newspaper.
Lo acabo de leer en los diarios.
I’ve just read about it in the newspapers.
