nariz, noun:
nose

We’ve already come across la nariz, nose.

sonarse la nariz
to blow one’s nose

In many idioms in Spanish you use the plural, narices. In the next idiom, the image is the same in Spanish as in English:

Le robaron el coche en sus propias narices.
They stole the car from under his nose or right in front of him.

In this one, the image is completely different:

pasarse algo por las narices
to care less about something

Me paso por las narices todas las opiniones que dicen de mí.
I could care less about what they say about me.
