preocupar, verb:
to worry

Some things worry us and preocupar is the word to express that:

Me preocupa su salud.
His health worries me.

No le preocupa en lo más mínimo.
It doesn’t worry him in the least.

You often use the reflexive preocuparse:

¡No te preocupes!
Don’t worry!

Siempre se preocupa si llego tarde.
She always gets worried if I arrive late.

Por is the preposition you use with preocuparse:

Se preocupa por su papá.
She worries about her dad.
