igualmente, adverb:
the same to you

The Spanish word igualmente is often used in conversation to wish somebody the same thing that they are wishing you. It is usually translated in this context as the same to you.

¡Feliz Navidad! - Gracias, igualmente..
Merry Christmas! - Thanks, the same to you.

¡Que descanses bien! Gracias, igualmente.
Sleep well - Thanks, the same to you.

If you’re about to eat and somebody says ¡Buen provecho! or ¡Que aproveche! (enjoy your meal) you also say Gracias, igualmente.
