honestamente, adverb:
honestly; to be honest with you, frankly

When honestamente refers to the way in which you do something, it works in a similar way to English honestly:

Dime honestamente lo que piensas.
Tell me honestly what you think.

Tengo que admitir honestamente que no entendí el argumento.
I have to be honest and admit that I didn’t understand the storyline.

However, you also use it like frankly in English, to qualify what you are about to say:

Honestamente, no lo sé.
To be honest with you, I don’t know.

Creo honestamente que es todo lo contrario de lo que dices.
Frankly or To be honest with you, I think it’s the exact opposite of what you’re saying.
