antipático, adjective:
unfriendly, unpleasant

Antipático is the exact opposite of simpático (another Word of the Day), and you use it when someone is unfriendly or unpleasant.

Es el tipo más antipático que conozco.
He’s the most unpleasant guy I know.

If you don’t like someone, you use the following phrase. Notice the use of the pronoun, me:

Me es muy antipático.
I don’t like him at all.

Things you don’t like having to do can also be antipático:

Debe tomar decisiones antipáticas.
She has to take unpleasant decisions.
