andar, verb:
walk; be; go
As you can see from the above, the Spanish verb andar can mean to walk and also, colloquially, to be. A third meaning is to go in the sense of to function.
But what does it mean when Speedy Gonzales, the fastest mouse in all Mexico, exclaims “¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!”? In colloquial Mexican Spanish this means Come on! Hurry up!
